About the Project

House of Seeds Ltd has implemented vegetable crop trials in partnership with organizations such as ZOA and SOLIDARIDAD. In districts like Nwoya, Nebbi, Koboko, and Moyo in northern Uganda, hybrid onion and tomato varieties as well as selections from other breeders were tested. These trials were supported by technical input and data collection from local agricultural officers, extension workers, and students. House of Seeds opened a retail location in Arua to expand farmer access to high-quality seeds following successful trials and rising regional demand.
